Technical
Specifications of Concrete Pavers Block
1. Cement used in
the manufacture of blocks shall be 53 Grade Ordinary Portland Cement
conforming to IS:12269-1987
2. Cement content
shall not be less than 200kg/cu. m. of concrete
3. Aggregate shall
conform to latest Indian Standard Codes. Washing of aggregate shall be
done in an approved manner to the standards stipulated in the said I.S.
Codes
4. Mixing or water shall conform to the latest Indian standards
codes and tested in accordance with such codes
5. Size and
tolerance: Concrete paver blocks shall be of 'Crinkle-cut' shape having a
work size of 200x100x100mm and shall have a 6.0 mm. Peripheral chamfer
on the top edges. The maximum dimensional deviation from the stated
size shall be as follows
- Length/width:
+/-2.0mm.
- Thickness: +/-3.0mm.
6. Compressive
strength: The average compressive strength of blocks when tested in
accordance with BS: 6717 part-1 1986 shall not be less than 30 N/sq. mm.
For every 1000 sq. m. of laid area minimum 6 Nos. blocks shall be
tested from a reputed laboratory as suggested by Architect

Water Absorption: The maximum limit for water absorption shall be as
follows:
2% absorbed after 10 minutes
5% absorbed after 24
hours
Bedding: Coarse sand/Aggregate bedding shall have a compacted
thickness of 50mm. In conformity with B.S. 7533.
Application of

Our precast concrete decorative interlocking
pavers have wide application as exterior surface covers. The heavy duty
pavers are used in city streets, loading ramps, intersections, gas
stations, loading docks, industrial floors, etc. The medium ones are
used in sidewalks, shopping malls, canal lining, residential streets,
safety zones, parks, storage yards, camping areas, etc. The light
varieties have application in driveways, pool decks, bicycle paths, walk
ways, temporary paving, and more.

Formatting A
Tender Of Interlocking Concrete Pavers
Providing &
laying factory made vibroc precast cement concrete pavers of Hindustan
Tiles (thickness 40mm,60 mm,80 mm,100mm.) having compressive strength of
200-300 kgs. per square centimeters as stipulated, comprising of
homogeneous cement plaster laid over 50mm bedding of watered, compacted
and dressed badapur preparing subgrade by hand compaction, joints are to
be filled by jamura Sand including finishing and compacting the top
surface of pavers blocks manufacturers test certificate & receipt
voucher are to be produced. Manufacturers require a well equipped lab
with a technical engineer.
